Shana Dykema is an improvement facilitator in the Performance Improvement Department at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she serves as one of five lean/Six Sigma experts. In this role, she has managed implementation of multiple projects across the organization, including 5S projects in multiple intensive care units (ICUs) and medical-surgical units. She is a regular instructor for MUSC’s performance improvement courses, and has presented on various topics at other conferences across the United States.
