Building Firm-Level Dynamic Capabilities: Micro Foundation for a Sound PI Agenda
Performance improvement as a practice creates a staging platform for organizations to actively identify, target, and develop the micro-level capabilities required to stage strategy by improving individual and team performance. These micro-level capabilities derive both focus and utility from the macro-level or organization-level capabilities required to deliver on the strategy and organizational purpose. This session presents research findings for aligning PI to a firm-level dynamic capabilities model for implementing strategy in a highly volatile environment.
More About This Speaker
Stanley Omeike has over 20 years of experience working with organizations to strengthen their institutional capability/capacity to develop, clarify, and execute strategy and corporate performance management systems. He has led large consulting engagements across sectors to design and implement strategy and performance management systems. He is currently a doctoral research Fellow in Strategy Execution Management focusing on improving understanding of how organizations engage with volatility to stage the dynamic capabilities required to orchestrate strategy.
